UNE presents its 2025 Standardisation Awards

​The Spanish Association for Standardisation (UNE) has presented the 2025 Standardisation Awards, recognising the outstanding contributions of experts and organisations to standardisation through their work in Technical Committees. The awards were presented by the President of UNE Alfredo Berges and Vice President Luis Rodulfo during the General Assembly of the Spanish Standardisation Organization, held on May 28.

The awards for Outstanding Technical Committee, Chair and Committee Member have been granted to:

CTN-UNE 60 Gaseous fuels and gas installations and appliances and CTN-UNE 321 Elevators, escalators and moving walkways, López Agüí Award to the most outstanding CTN-UNE:

The CTN-UNE 60 secretariat is led by SEDIGAS and that of CTN-UNE 321 is led by FEEDA. This recognition has been awarded for the positive impact of the activities of both UNE Committees on organisations in their respective sectors, as well as for their dynamism and professionalism in complying with the procedures established in the standardisation system. Francisco José Sichar, secretary of the CTN-UNE 60, and Henar Gozalo, secretary of the CTN-UNE 321, received this award.

Antonio Valladolid, recipient of the UNE Award for the Most Outstanding Chair of the CTN-UNE or SC-UNE:

This is in recognition of his important work as a driving force and promoter of the activities of the CTN-UNE 205 Lamps and associated equipment, leading the Chairmanship for years during which he has maintained his leadership and involvement.

Ismael Caballero, UNE Award for the Most Outstanding CTN-UNE or SC-UNE representative:

Ismael Caballero is a managing partner of DQTeam. This UNE Award has been granted in recognition of his outstanding interest and involvement in the work of CTN-UNE 71/SC 7 Software Engineering and Information Systems, as well as his commitment to European and international standardisation organisations.

With these awards, UNE highlights the work carried out by more than 200 Technical Standardisation Committees, involving 12,500 experts from 4,300 organisations across various sectors. The aim of these UNE Committees is to contribute, through the development of technical standards, to the sustainable growth of the Spanish productive fabric and to the shared progress of society.
