The importance of education on standardisation, in the UNE Magazine

​​​The June edition of the UNE magazine is now available:

• The importance of education on standardisation. The UNE governing bodies have approved the UNE Strategy on Universities, which will promote knowledge of standardisation in the university sector.

• Spain consolidates its international leadership in standardisation.UNE has held its General Meeting, in which it presented the highlights of its activity in 2023. This included the promotion of Spanish leadership in the international arena, with the corresponding boost to the Spanish production network.

• Support for Standardisation in Energy management and energy savings. The new UNE Report "Supporting Standardization in Energy Efficiency and Savings", offers an overview of the key areas of standardisation in energy efficiency and energy savings that contribute to today's climate and energy goals.
  

• Valladolid, world capital of ISO standards on blockchain and DLT. Over 90 experts from 30 countries met in Valladolid for the plenary meeting of the Tehnical Standardization Committee ISO/TC 307 “Blockchain and other Distributed Ledger technologies".

• The Associates speak. Interview with María Aláez, Technical and Quality Director of Fenin: “The relevance of standardisation is recognised in the legislation applicable to the sector."
  

• Standardisation in action: UNE Committee of Essential oils and cosmetic products. The CTN-UNE 84 has developed over 300 standards on essential oils (extracts and odoriferous substances), compositions of fragrances and aromatic materials; and cosmetic products including raw materials and semi-finished and finished products.
