The Spanish Standardization Association, UNE, has announced the call to participate in the 2022 edition of the Standardization Awards.
The aim of these awards, granted by the Spanish standardisation body, is to acknowledge the commitment and professionality of over the experts and organisations that play an active role in developing technical standards in the UNE Technical Standardisation Committees.
Similarly, the award is expected to help disseminate the multisectoral, collaborative approach embodied by UNE, as well as boost the partnership model as an effective guarantee in responding to the needs of Spanish companies.
Three categories are offered:
- López Agüí award to the most prominent UNE-TSC. The UNE Award for the most outstanding UNE-TSC has been renamed this way, in order to pay a small tribute to him.
Mr. Juan Carlos López Agüí, who sadly left us this year, stood out for his firm commitment to standardisation and UNE, causing his passing to be felt very deeply at UNE.
- UNE Award for the most outstanding UNE-TSC or UNE-SC.
- UNE Award for the most outstanding TSC spokesperson.
The rules are available here. The deadline for applications is open until 25 October.The awards ceremony will take place coinciding with the UNE Meeting of Presidents and Secretaries 2022, and the date and place will be reported in the next few days.
