On 9 February, the Standardisation Management Board (SMB) of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) elected Xavier Montfort as Chairman of the international standardisation committee IEC TC 69 Electric power transfer systems for electrically powered road vehicles and commercial trucks.
This committee is responsible for developing international standards for electric power transfer systems for electrically powered road vehicles and commercial trucks that draw power from a rechargeable energy storage system. At the national level, the work is carried out in the CTN-UNE 203/SC 69 committee, whose secretariat is SERCOBE.
Xavier Montfort is head of certification at Wallbox, a UNE member company, and has extensive experience in international and national standardisation throughout his professional career.
