• Among other improvements, the new version puts greater emphasis on risk management to minimise risks throughout the food chain and make organisations more efficient and competitive. In addition, it is easy to integrate into other management systems.
• This standard, which rescinds and substitutes the 2005 version, brings together the best practices at an international level to introduce an effective food security management system into organisations, committed to ongoing improvement.
