The opportunities of the circular economy AEAS

The International Affairs Director of the Spanish Water Supply and Sanitation Association (AEAS), Gari Villa-Landa, participated in the presentation of iAgua Magazine 19, on the occasion of the International Re-use and Recycling Conference, organized by the International Desalination Association (IDA). There, she outlined the main Circular Economy conclusions reached at the 8th World Water Forum, held in Brasilia last March. Among the main conclusions, she pointed out that the circular economy should be perceived as a means to meet global challenges and contribute to the fulfillment of the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals), the Principles for "Water Wise Cities" and the New Urban Agenda. She also concluded that the circular economy approach may help to change mindsets and turn challenges into opportunities, including business opportunities.
