Spanish Association for Standardization and the
Spanish Federation of Recovery and Recycling are pleased to invite you to the
webinar UNE-FER: new standard on classification for the reuse and recycling of textiles, which will be held online on
13 March at
10:30 am.
This event will present the new UNE Standard 40700 on "Specifications for handling and classification for the reuse and recycling of used textiles", which was published at the end of 2023. It will analyse its content and the advantages of having a standardized process for handling and classifying used textiles.
They will also discuss the legislative developments that will affect the textile reuse and recycling chain.
This standard is the result of a consensus reached in the CTN-UNE 40/GT 11, "Circular Economy Committee for Textile Products and the Textile Chain".
